I mean there already is some existing abilities and powers in 4e to keep you up below 0, but i cant help but see the limit of no healing as a death sentence. Once you drop below 0 you basically have your bloodied value left and no way to heal at all. I could imagine an unlucky pagus being knocked down to below 0 early on in the fight and he is pretty much screwed because there is no way for hom to heal.

now if that is what you are going for it's not my place to tell you any different, just wanted to point it out as a possible issue.

OK...I'll work on that.

I just want to preface this with I love this book, just wanted to provide some feedback on errors as I find them.

With how it is worded it would seem that you couldnt ever be be given health after you drop below 0:

"You cannot spend healing surges if below 0 hit points."

It should probably read something like:

"You cannot take a second wind action if you are below 0 hit points." or "While below 0 hit points, you cannot regain hit points unless another creatures grants you the ability to do so."

I'd go for that one...

As for the second part. Are you asking if Kodiak unarmed attacks count against their Imposing but Clumsy rule. They don't. Your unarmed attacks do not suffer from the Imposing but Clumsy penalty. Damn fine point, though.

Yes, pretty much exactly what I was asking. Thanks.

OK...let me talk art. I don't like low quality art, and I have an awesome artist. But as a result, we need to keep our commissions frugal. THAT being said, I knew we were going to be repeating images between traditional classes and essentials classes. I needed to figure out how to break up the text without paying for more art. SO...the first thing we did is flip the images around. But that still wasn't enough. SO, if you look at the Marshal and Operator, you will notice...they ALSO have goatees.

And you know a goatee totally makes a different person. ;)

(like Spock in Mirror, Mirror)

Am I really that old?

I had to go back and check to make sure you weren't pulling my leg... but the difference between the Marshal and 'Alternate' Marshal is that indeed the Alternate is flipped and sports a goatee. Exactly like the 'evil twin' cliche perpetuated (or perhaps originated?) by Star Trek.
