Dias Ex Machina Games

The Ancient Wuxia lifepath gives a +1 proficiency bonus to unarmed attacks, and the Unarmed Combat feat gives a +3 proficiency bonus. Am I right that they are meant not to stack?

Generally, they would not, no. That being said, you could use Ancient Wuxia with standard fantasy rules or use the ones in Foundations.
Also, I would have no issue if someone house-ruled that the could stack.
