I know that no one has received their hardcopies yet, but I am hoping and encouraging those that receive them or have already received and are reading the PDF, to post your thoughts about them...and not just here. Post your reviews on Lulu, RPGNow, ENworld. This game's success if via word-of-mouth. We are proud of our product and are willing to take the good with the bad. We are not afraid of what the critics will say

<crosses fingers> Please like it, please like it, please like it.

Why is it so late? Because I have been reading your wonderfull book!! DAH!

Seriously, this is what I have been waiting for. The perfect balance between something fresh and new and something known and reassuring.

Also, the fluff text is amazing and really fires up the imagination engine!

Posted reviews on Drivethrurpg, Gleemax, Montecook. Awaiting from ENworld that
they add Amethyst to their database so I can post it there to.

Any other site you know about you would want me to add my propaganda?

I copy/pasted on all boards so if you read one you red them all!

Cya!

I posted a brief review on ENWorld for you under the title "Amethyst d20 RPG Rocks":

http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?p ... ost4175752

Is it too early to inquire as to a ballpark release date for book 2?

That's an awesome post. Thanks. You should post that on RPGNow as well.

It's never too early to ask anything. Right now, my concentration lies with finishing the novelization, waiting for baited breath for 4.0 and gauge its potential, and the possible sourcebook we hope to have out later this year which we mentioned in the Podcast. Before we tackle Europe and Africa (Eura Thalassa and Arkonnia) in Book 2, we want to expand a few issues with Book 1 (Canam & Southam). As repeated to the limit of annoyance, the rate and quality of these books depend on income generated by this first book. Its not ego or the desire to save for a PS3, it dictates the budget of future releases. If we sell a 1000 copies, that's a 1000 people we know may be interested in future books and that revenue will pay for more art. Writer fees? BAH. We have day jobs...which we hate. One thing at a time. :)
